William ALBRECHT, blacksmith and wagon maker, Mayville [Dodge County, 
Wisconsin], was born in Prussia 30 October 1848. He came to America at the 
age of two years with his parents, locating on a farm near Mayville, and has 
spent his life and was educated in Dodge County. He began his business in 
Mayville in 1872, and has been very successful. Mr. [William] ALBRECHT is a 
Democrat. He has been and is now a member of the Village Board. He is also 
a member of the Mayville Lodge, No. 200, Independent Order of Odd Fellows.

On 01 January 1874 he married Miss Caroline BAHL. They [William and Caroline 
(BAHL) ALBRECHT] have two children: Edwin and William.
