The History of the Township and Village of Mazomanie, BY WILLIAM KITTLE, MADISON, WIS. STATE JOURNAL PRINTING CO. 1900. CHRISTIAN PARMAN was born in Germany in 1838 and came to Black Earth in 1854. He worked around for six years and then bought a farm in Black Earth, where he lived until 1891, when he moved to Mazomanie. He has been village trustee for six years. The children living are: Louis, Edward, Mrs. Alvah Drake, Mrs. Bert Hayden, all in Black Earth, and Pauline Parmen in Mazomanie. Submitted by Randi McCartney
