ALFRED DIMENT was born May 21, 1865, in Berry, Dane 
county, Wis. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin 
in 1888. He went to Iowa and Colorado for some months, and 
in 1890 began the hardware business in Mazomanie. In 1891 
he was married to Miss Nellie Stickney. They have one 
child--Gladys.
