CHARLES CURTIS,  farmer, Sec. 35;  P.O. Fort Atkinson; born in 
Tunbridge, Orange Co., Vt., June 2, 1829; son of J. P. and Philippi 
(Williams) Curtis; came to Wisconsin in 1843, and located on his 
present homestead, consisting of forty acres, Section 35.  Married, in 
December, 1854, Olive Whitney; have one child - Orson C., born Sept. 
25, 1856.  Republican; religion, liberal.
