Irving F. HOBART, Westford, farmer, was born 11 January 1858 in Westford 
[Chittenden County, Vermont], son of Eli and Hannah J. (BRUSH) HOBART. 
Educated in the public schools. Has followed farming, and has also been a 
creamery proprietor and traveling salesman for the De Lavl Separator Company. 
Republican; member of the Republican county committee; has been selectman, 
lister, school director, road commissioner and county supervisor of highways, 
represented Westford in the state Legislature 1902; senator from Chittenden 
County 1908. Member of Warner Lodge No. 50, Free & Accepted Masons; and 
Chittenden Lodge No. 23, Knights of Pythias.
