Educated in the public schools of Burlington [Vermont], Decatur [Morgan County], Alabama, and Burlington Business College. In the meat and grocery business at New Decatur, Alabama, 1889-1890; employee of the Birmingham Electric Railway Company, Birmingham [Jefferson County], Alabama, May to October 1890; clerk Southern Express Company, Decatur, Alabama, 1890-1892; employee of Birmingham Bolt Works, Birmingham, Alabama, 1892-1894; employee of Champlain Transportation Company, Burlington [Vermont], summers of 1896 and 1897; insurance agent Metropolitan Life Insurance Company during winters of 1898 and 1899; employee of Baldwin Refrigerator Company, Burlington [Vermont], 1899 to 1901; in U. S. customs service at Burlington, May 1900 to date, as clerk, messenger, deputy collector and clerk, and at present deputy collector and inspector. Enlisted as private in Company M, First Vermont Volunteers, 04 May 1898; mustered out 07 Nov 1898. Republican. Member Roman Catholic Church. Charter member and past senior vice commander James W. Flynn Camp No. 9, past commander Department of Vermont, and at present national aide-de-camp United Spanish War Veterans; charter member Bacaloor Lair No. 1, Burlington, Grand Lair of Vermont, and member Supreme Lair of the U. S., Military Order of the Serpent; member of Knights of Columbus. In 1900 he [Luther Weston FENNELL] married [Miss?] Loretto Agnes MARENGO of Burlington [Chittenden County, Vermont]; they have three children: Muriel Weston, Reginald Prescott, and Kenneth Paul.
