Burlington: Ullery Publishing Company, 1912, p 174 Treffle Isidore DUHAMEL, druggist, Burlington [Vermont] was born 04 April 1872 at Burlington [Chittenden County, Vermont], son of Leanide and Elmire (VINCENT) DUHAMEL. Educated at the French parochial school, and graduated from St. Joseph's College in 1888. After leaving college he was engaged for three years at the drug store of J. W. O'SULLIVAN; was five years with W. H. Zottman & Company, and one year with Eugene Gosselin & Brothers. In 1897 Mr. DUHAMEL purchased the drug store on Elmwood Avenue [Burlington], which he still conducts. He is a member of St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, and has been a member of the choir since 1890, and for the past nine years director of funeral services. Mr. DUHAMEL is a member of St. Joseph's Society, L'Union St. Jean Baptiste; Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks; Knights of Columbus; Modern Woodmen of America; Chevaliers de Champlain; Montcalm Club; National Association of Retail Druggists; Vermont State Pharmaceutical Association; and Burlington Retail Druggists' Association.
