Was teller, First National Bank, North Bennington [Bennington County]; was teller, Merchants National Bank, Burlington; then assistant cashier, cashier, vice president and now president, Howard National Bank, Burlington; is president of Horatio Hickok Company, lumber manufacturers; director, Baldwin Refrigerator Company, and Welch Brothers Maple Company. In 1885 Mr. [Frederick E.] BURGESS married [Miss?] Agnes A. HULING of North Bennington [Bennington County, Vermont]. They have two children: Helen Madeline and Frederick Vaughn. Mr. BURGESS is a Republican; he was formerly secretary of the state committee. He is a Unitarian.
