Taught anatomy, University of Vermont, December 1904-May 1905; practiced medicine, Mount Holly [Rutland County, Vermont], May 1905-July 1907; instructor in anatomy, University of Vermont, November 1907-June 1911; instructor in histology, November 1909-June 1911; Thayer professor of anatomy since June 1911. Republican. Congregationalist; deacon of First Church, Burlington; assistant superintendent of the Sunday school.
