(BOUGHTON) AULD. He was educated in the public schools. Mr. AULD was successively reporter, manager and editor of Rutland "Daily Herald" 1870-1882; general manager and assistant editor Daily Free Press, Burlington, 1882-1892; manager Rapid Printing Company, New York, 1892-1894; founder, 1894, and since editor and publisher "Daily News," Burlington, and director, secretary, and treasurer News Publishing Company. Mr. AULD is a Republican; a Unitarian; a member of Algonquin Club, Ethan Allen Club, National Geographic Society, and Civic Federation. In 1880 Joseph AULD married [Miss?] Annie C.
