(CUMMINGS) ARNOLD. He was educated at St. Joseph's College, and the University of Vermont College of Medicine, class of 1901. Was house surgeon, Mary Fletcher Hospital, 1901-1903; postgraduate work in diseases of the eye, ear, nose and throat in Philadelphia hospitals, 1903-1904; began practice in Burlington in 1904; a specialist in diseases of the eye, ear, nose, and throat; ophthalmologist, otologist, and laryngologist to the Fanny Allen Hospital and Providence Orphan Asylum and Hospital; examiner in diseases of the eye, ear, nose and throat for the U. S. bureau of pensions. Independent in politics. Member of the Catholic Church. Member of the American Medical Association; New England Otological and Laryngological Society; Vermont State Medical Society; Burlington and Chittenden County Clinical Society; National Geographic Society; Knights of Columbus; Ethan Allen Club; American Automobile Association; Automobile Club of Vermont; and Green Mountain Club.
