Harland B. HOWE, St. Johnsbury, lawyer, was born 19 February 1873 at St. 
Johnsbury [Caledonia County, Vermont, son of Worcester C. and Rosaline 
(BRADLEY) HOWE. Educated at Lyndon Institute; University of Michigan law 
department, graduated 1894. Mr. HOWE began the practice of law at St. 
Johnsbury in November 1894, continuing to date. Democrat; represented St. 
Johnsbury in the state Legislature 1908. An attendant of the Methodist 
Church. In 1900 [Harland B. HOWE] was married to [Miss?] Maybelle J. KELSEY 
of St. Johnsbury; they have four daughters, Josephine E. Barbara J., Matilda 
A., and Harriet B.
