Burlington: Ullery Publishing Company, 1912, p 219 Ola Henry HENDERSON, St. Johnsbury [Caledonia County, Vermont], railroad passenger agent, was born 21 March 1857 at Corinth [Orange County, Vermont], son of Rev. Moses C. and Susan A. (WOOD) HENDERSON. Educated at Tilton (New Hampshire) Academy [Belknap County]; Lyndon Literary Institute; and New Hampton (New Hampshire) Commercial College. In 1875 he entered the ticket office of the Connecticut & Passumpsic Rivers Railroad Company at St. Johnsbury. After about fifteen months service as a clerk, he was promoted to passenger agent, which position he has since held, the Connecticut and Passumpsic Rivers Railroad having since been leased to the Boston & Maine system. Republican; has served as chairman of the Republican town committee, and also as delegate to conventions. Member of the Baptist Church; has held offices in the local church, is a member of the board of trustees, also auditor, and member of the board of trustees of the Vermont Baptist state convention. Member of Passumpsic Lodge No. 27, Free & Accepted Masons; Hasell Chapter No. 7, Royal Arch Masons; Caledonia Council No. 13, Royal & Select Masons; Palestine Commandery, Knights Templar; Mizpah Lodge of Perfection, Scottish Rite; Mt. Sinai Temple, Mystic Shrine; also member of Independent Order of Odd Fellows; past grand master, past grand patriarch, past department commander, present grand secretary of Grand Lodge of Vermont, and past trustee of Gill Odd Fellows Home; also member of Apollo Lodge, Knights of Pythias. In 1878 he [Ola Henry HENDERSON] married [Miss?] Clara J. SMITH of Woodstock [Grafton County], New Hampshire. They have five children: Isabelle, Edith G. (Mrs. DAVISON), Lillian E.
