Charles Herbert GOSS, Merchant, St. Johnsbury [Caledonia County, Vermont], 
was born 29 July 1865 at South Wheelock [Caledonia County, Vermont], son of 
Horace C. and Celistia E. (SANDERSON) GOSS. Educated in public schools of 
South Wheelock. Has been engaged in the heating and plumbing business to 
date; established an automobile garage in 1910. Congregationalist. Member 
of the Commercial Club of St. Johnsbury, the Automobile Club of Vermont, and 
the Forest and Steam Club. In 1887 he [Charles Herbert GOSS] married [Miss?] 
Mary E. FITZSIMMONS of Lowell [Orleans County, Vermont]; they have five 
children: Sadie Calista, Ethel Mae, Virginia Estelle, Clara Helen, and Henry 
Charles.
