EDGELL graduated at the same institution [University of Vermont], and was settled in Massachusetts as a Congregational clergyman, possessing good talents and a genial disposition, and presumed to be an ornament of his profession; supposed to be still living." [John Quincy Adams EDGELL was born about 1740-1744 in Westminster, Windham County, Vermont, son of William EDGELL and Elizabeth NORMAN. On 09 November 1762 at Cambridge, County, Massachusetts, John Quincy Adams EDGELL was united in marriage to Rebecca WINSHIP. There was also a John Quincy Adams EDGELL, born in Burlington, Chittenden County, Vermont, died on 15 September 1867 in Canterbury, Windham County, Connecticut, who may have been related in some manner to this John Q.
