Practicing physician in St. Johnsbury, being a specialist in diseases of the eye, ear, nose, and throat; is ophthalmologist and laryngologist Brightlook and St. Johnsbury Hospitals; also Morrison's Hospital, Whitefield [Coos County], New Hampshire; expert examiner eye and ear U. S. Pension Bureau; house surgeon Mary Fletcher Hospital, Burlington, 1893-1894; vice president Brightlook Hospital Association; member of Caledonia County and Vermont State Medical Societies. Republican. Member of Episcopal Church. Member of Passumpsic Lodge No. 27, Free & Accepted Masons; Haswell Chapter No. 11, Royal Arch Masons; Caledonia Council No. 13, Royal & Select Masons; Palestine Commandery No. 5, Knights Templar; Mt.
