(SCOTT) CALDERWOOD. Educated in the public schools and People's Academy, Morrisville [Lamoille County, Vermont]. Was in the general merchandise business in Greensboro in 1871 and 1872; in Wells River [Orange County, Vermont] from 1873 to 1875; since 1875 has conducted a furniture store and undertaking business in St. Johnsbury; is chairman of the Vermont board of Examiners of Embalmers and Undertakers. He [Charles Arba CALDERWOOD] married [Miss?] Ida May PENNEY, of Greensboro; they have three sons: Charles Sherman, Clarence Roy, and Alva P. Republican; represented St. Johnsbury in the Legislature, 1910; was chairman of the committee on federal relations and ways and means. Congregationalist.
