ROWE, Irwin

Irwin ROWE [Mondovi, Buffalo County, Wisconsin], of the firm of Rowe & 
Barrows, dealers in groceries, glass and queensware [see also the Buffalo 
County biography of his business partner, Hiram Calvin BARROWS], was born in 
May 1849 in Pennsylvania. He has served four years as Under Sheriff of 
Buffalo County. [Irwin ROWE is listed in the 1880 census of Mondovi, Buffalo 
County, Wisconsin, boarding in the hotel of Stephen G. FULLER: Irwin ROWE, 
thirty, farmer, born in Pennsylvania, by his census age about 1850, to 
parents also born in Pennsylvania.

Henry B. and Lucinda (BIESICKER) ROWE. William was born in Pennsylvania, and 
came with his parents to Wisconsin in 1857, locating in Mondovi, Buffalo 
County. Also, in the 1880 census of Mondovi, residing alone, is Joseph ROW 
(ROWE?), fifty-five, widowed, carpenter, born (about 1825) in Pennsylvania to 
parents also born there, who may also be related. Bracketed material added
