ADOLPHUS BLAIR, saloon keeper; was born in Canada in 1833, and with his parents, moved to the State of New York in 1835, where he remained ten years, when with his parents, he came to Wisconsin and located on a farm in the town of Milford, where he was educated and where he was elected Chairman of the Town Board in 1873. He married Miss Mary Filiatrau, of Milford, Jan. 28, 1861; they have eight children – Charles E., Mary E., Gertrude, Elizabeth, Ruth, Walter, Carrie and Edward, all of whom, with parents, are members of the Catholic Church.
