Burlington: Ullery, 1912, p 112 Clayton Witters BARTLETT, physician and surgeon, Bennington [Bennington County, Vermont], was born 24 September 1865 in Georgia [Franklin County, Vermont], son of Samuel H. and Juliette E. (WITTERS) BARTLETT. He was educated at Milton High School and medical department, University of Vermont; began the practice of medicine at East Dorset [Bennington County, Vermont] in 1888; in 1900 removed to Bennington, where he has since continued practice. U. S. examining surgeon 1893-1897. Dr. BARTLETT is a member Masonic fraternity; Knights Templar and thirty-second degree Mason; the Mystic Shrine; Independent Order of Odd Fellows; Knights of Pythias; Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, and Foresters of America.
