C.G. BELL,  editor and proprietor of the Waterloo Journal; born at 
Houlton, Aroostock Co., Me., July 1, 1852; came to Wisconsin in 1861; 
located at Marshall, Dane Co.; in 1873, went into the post office at that 
place as Assistant Postmaster, which position he retained until May, 
1879, when he purchased his present paper.  He married at Marshall, 
Dane Co., Wis., May 7, 1878, Ada E. Fuller, a native of Pennsylvania.
