Palmyra; born in County Cork, Ireland, in 1831; the early part of his life was spent in Ireland; came to America in 1850, and located in Whitewater, Wis.; removed to Palmyra in 1852, and to the farm he now owns of 240 acres in 1856. Mr. Beamish has twice been to Ireland since his settlement in the United States. He married Elizabeth McCarthy Nov. 14, 1852. He is a Republican, and Master Mason, and is now Senior Warden in Palmyra Lodge, No. 68. Is liberal in religion. Has served two terms as Supervisor in Palmyra.
