BANDELIN, manufacturer of and dealer in boots and shoes; was born in the Kingdom of Prussia July 15, 1847. In 1857, he accompanied his parents to America, locating at Watertown, where he has since resided. He began the trade of bootmaking when 13 years of age, and commenced business for himself in January, 1877. Oct. 1, 1871, he married Anna Schlueter, a native of Watertown, and have had four children – John, Minnie, Amanda and Lydia, the last of whom is deceased. They are members of the Moravian Church.
