Is a dealer in apples, buying many thousand barrels annually in New York, the Annapolis Valley, Nova Scotia, Shenandoah Valley, Virginia, and Champlain Valley in Vermont. Vice president of the Vermont Horticultural Society 1907-1908; secretary Cornwall Telephone and Telegraph Company; secretary and director Northern Orchard Company; president Middlebury Cooperative Creamery Association; president Vermont & Long Island Realty Company, Inc., with offices in New York City. Republican; selectman since 1907. Congregationalist; chairman of the executive committee. Member of Union Lodge No. 2, Free & Accepted Masons; Mt.
