Burlington: Ullery Publishing Company, 1912, p 186 George Bradford FARR, farmer and lumber manufacturer, Hancock [Addison County, Vermont], was born 13 December 1865 at East Middlebury [Addison County, Vermont], son of Henry E. and Alvrett (OLMSTEAD) FARR. Educated in the public schools. Kept an hotel two years; was employed in a store at Hancock two years; since then he has engaged in farming and lumber manufacturing, having as a partner V. L. PERKINS, and afterwards F. O. KENNEDY. Republican; represented Hancock in the Vermont Legislature, 1900; has held many town offices. In religious belief a Universalist. Member of Rural Lodge No. 29, Free & Acccepted Masons; Independent Order of Odd Fellows. In 1886 he [George Bradford FARR] married [Miss?] Edith Mary FORD of Granville [Addison County, Vermont]; they have three children: Claude Henry, Leslie Ford, and Phyllis Avis.
