BOOTH, of Waltham [Addison County, Vermont] was born 26 May 1841 in Ferrisburg [Ferrisburgh, Addison County, Vermont], son of Ezra and Sophia (WHALLEY) BOOTH. Educated in the district school and at Vergennes Academy, at the wish of his parents he remained with them on the old homestead until he became of age. In 1875 he sold his estate in Ferrisburg and removed to Waltham. He represented that town in the Legislature of 1880, and has served as selectman, as well as in other town offices. On 26 March 1872 he [William W. BOOTH] was married to Thirza, daughter of Aaron and Lottie FIELD, of Ferrisburg. They have two children: Agnes F., born 16 June 1874; and Arthur E., born 28 April 1878. Submitted by Cathy Kubly
